Apparently, on the SDMB, saying anything against Terry Pratchett is tantamount to mortal sin. So I'm going to say it here.
I read Small Gods. People are always on about it being one of his best.
It sucked.
It wasn't all that funny, it dragged along and was soooo slow at times, I felt the characterization was poor, and in generally I didn't like it.
There, now I've said it.
