Junie, we are loving the CD. We listened to it while we drove around aimlessly. That Nick Cave song - I had the soundtrack to that Batman movie, the first one Robin was in? And that was on there, and I loved it, but I hadn't heard the song since the summer that movie came out - I still remembered the words. And the Triplets of Belleville song - I was picking up about one word in ten, and couldn't tell you for the life of me what the lyrics were actually about, but I'm totally digging it - it was so 1920s-style death song! Also, the jazz version of the Super Mario 2 song killed me. And the helmet song! And the glavin! I am dead.

Also today: we bought the 1960 phone book for Longview and found an ex-motel - or what was left of it. Film at 11.
