2. If the crickets do not currently venerate me as a kind and lovely goddess, they damn well ought to. Do you know how many of those little guys I saved from being stepped on today? I even have a Cricket Rescue Mission going on in the Copy Center. It's a little cardboard box labelled "CRICKET SAVIN' Catch-and-Release" program. It must have been amusing to watch me follow them around one by one as they hopped and did backflips in panic, I meanwhile speaking soothingly. "Come on, little fella! I'll take you outside, where you are far less likely to be smushed by a shrieking woman who fears your hoppitness!"
3. Speaking of shrieking women, a lady came up to me around noon and asked me to point her towards the mumblemumble. I asked her to repeat, as I hadn't heard what she was looking for. "Where are the veryfastmumblemumble?" I'm sorry, I still don't understand. "Where are the (veryfastmumble) dickshunries?" Ma'am, could you please repeat that last word? I'm not catching you. "WHERE.... ARE.... THE..... dickshunries?!?!?!?!?!?!"
How about we enunciate the word I've already told you I'm NOT understanding instead of all the ones I am, you dumb cunt? I'm not retarded, I'm just not understanding you when you mumble words incredibly fast in a funny accent!
4. It was Teacher Appreciation Day and we were giving out gift bags TO TEACHERS in the morning. We ran out at noon. Th'impervious horrors which resulted from both the running out and the initial segregation to TEACHERS, NOT THE GENERAL PUBLIC, I leave to your imagination.
