Does anyone know how much it might cost to have a jeweler put the stone back in and fix it so it won't fall out again? It's a tension mount, no prongs, sterling silver band and CZ. Whole ring cost under $15 and I'd probably be willing to get it fixed were it $25 or less... if it's more than that, I'll have to say to hell with the sentimental value and just get a new engagement ring.
See, it's stuff like this that's why I don't want a diamond ring. I'll just wear the CZ until we get married, and then switch to a plain band with no stone. Can you even imagine if I lost a diamond? Any one we could afford would be so tiny I'd never find it again (the stone in my current ring is 6mm across at the widest point, so very visible).
