Ok. Does, or does not, the phrase "seig heil" or even just "heil" have a Nazi connotation/implication in American English society, regardless of its simple and harmless denotation in literal translation from the German?

I think the most unusual wearable item I own is the one I'm wearing right now with my white sweater set: a goldtone-and-pearl-chain sweaterguard from the Portland Zoo.  I bought it on eBay for $5 because the clasps are enamelled shields with penguins on them.  It is unusual because it is a sweater guard, a mostly unknown item today; and because it is from the Portland Zoo, a place I am likely to never go to in person.

I shot a tommy gun today. It was fun.

It wasn't a "real" one, of course. Just a semi-auto. But it was still pretty fun.
