(no subject)

Well, this is annoying as fuck.  The heater's blowing ice-cold air, it's supposed to get down to 28 tonight, it's about 40 right now before windchill, the official line the apartment complex gave us is that if there's no heat and it's below 50 degrees out it's an emergency, and the apartment complex's "24 Hour Answering Service" isn't answering.  I'm sure I'd survive without heat, I mean I've survived week-long blizzard-induced blackouts before, but it's annoying that they don't provide the level of service they claim.

The weird thing is the heater worked a couple of nights ago, just fine.  Although that was the first time it had come on all year, and the scent it gave off was less "summer dust burning off" than "something flammable burning up"....
