I was thinking about the Daughters of Vulcan and it seems to me that they would have been formed at some point between the Civil War and the turn of the century, and were probably originally meant just to be a sort of sorority for the wives of ABAE members rather than any sort of association of working women in their own right, although they've since developed into that (coming into their own during the World Wars due to the lack of manpower).  What do you think on the subject?

Also:

[PHIRE] titus n. owl: man i don't know if they give you a senior whose focus is completely different than yours on purpose or if it just ends up turning out that way on accident but it must be kind of frustrating :V
[PHIRE] titus n. owl: i bet they do it on purpose and when it started it was so you'd get a chance to learn outside your core
[PHIRE] titus n. owl: and then it turned into a thing they do because of tradition
[PHIRE] titus n. owl: and now it's a thing they do because junior year is supposed to be a trial
