Today we went to thrift stores. Justin almost bought a Twister shirt (actually licensed by Twister, with a pattern of the Twister sheet). He didn't, though, because he didn't think he had any cash on him. I found a wing chair for $15 at one of the Goodwill stores downtown. Right now it's really dirty and it's done in this salmony-pink velvet. I intend to buy it, clean it up for now and reupholster it as soon as possible. Mom says it's not that difficult; if you think it's hard to do, let me know, and if you have any tips or links, let me know those too. I am hoping to find something cheap in bulk on ebay or otherwise, perhaps in a lime green, to upholster it with. And I'd do bright blue piping for contrast. It'll replace the rolly chair in the Nook. It's a very comfortable chair and I've always been fond of wing chairs.
The purchase of the day, though, was the November 1986 issue of NINJA MAGAZINE More indepth review and scans of interesting tidbits to follow
