titusnowlThere is a prodigious rainfall outside. Indeed, it is raining like whoa. I just sent Justin home, and I'm very worried for his safe arrival back at his house.
He had to work tonight - couple of high school graduations - and when he got off around 11 we went and grabbed dinner at the Waffle Shoppe on Spur 63 & US 80 - which I've always called Texas Waffle because its sign has a huge waffle shaped like Texas on it. Their food is a little expensive for a plain old diner but it's good, honest food - the bacon is cut thick and cooked well, the pancakes are delicious - but the waffles shaped like Texas? Pure fiction.
We were going to drive around aimlessly afterwards - driving around aimlessly in the middle of the night is one of my favorite pastimes - but, as stated above, it started raining like whoa, so we called it a night.
I am always worried about him when I can't see him.
