titusnowlI also find it quite annoying that I'm expected to boss the new girl around and, basically, manage her, while I really have NO basis for doing so - I do not outrank her in any way, shape or form, and have no authority to make her do anything. I can't get her in trouble, scold her, or do anything to her if she choose to stand around not doing anything. Since I am not in a REAL position of authority, yet am expected to act as though I am, the overall effect is to make it look as though I am powertripping/being bossy/being a bitch.
