I went to the grocery store, and on the way out I checked out the line of quarter machines.  One of them had "body piercings" so I thought to myself "no way, that's gotta be a fifty cent machine" but no, it was only a quarter, and I just happened to have a quarter in my pocket!  Best quarter machine goody ever.  Now I have a big old metal loop in my nose with a metal star charm dangling off it. Go me!!!!

Was this real jewelry or some kind of clip-on? The best thing I've seen in the quarter machines lately is Simpsons bobbleheads down at the bowling alley. When I was a kid I once got a lighter for a quarter. Times were different then.
