I'm considering selling my existing in-car, aftermarket CD player, so I can buy one that can read MP3s off a disk. Crutchfield has a well-reviewed one for just $80, which I'm sure I can budget for.
My question is: I have a kit to make the CD player fit the hole in the dashboard. Are these kits car-specific or stereo-specific? By which I mean, will the kit I have right now work for the new CD player too, or will I have to get another?
