WELL WHAT DO YOU KNOW
Here I am blaming my high cholesterol on the twinned circumstances of our very high proportion of fried foods, and my love of putting margarine (which I call "butter," incorrectly, because that's what my mom calls it - margarine is "butter" and butter is "real butter") on stuff.
Turns out that 1) the brand of margarine I use is cholesterol free anyway suckers, and 2) there is a family history of high cholesterol, so it might be partially hereditary.
So actually my high cholesterol is a result of our high proportion of fried foods and my familial predisposition. I can cook with butter after all, guys!
But keep throwing butter-free recipes my way anyway - the more methods I can add to my repertoire the happier I'll be, and even if it's cholesterol-free it's still pretty high in calories.
