note: hair beginning to grow out of the crew-cut he had done for graduation; still has the ghosts of the tan-lines around his eye sockets left by his training mask (pyro school students wear masks without tint in the lenses, leading to pretty funny cases of raccoon eye), and the marks from where the internal filter/support of the mask presses into the skin of his cheeks/mouth area; deathly pallor elsewhere due to lack of sun inside the mask and suit; nervous, blushing and rather not-sure-if-want about everything in the world
