Proof: Line during introduction: "Two souls are on the line!" (There was a pair of adjectives referring to the souls but I've forgotten)

Proof again: They introduce him in an interstitial bit as being "a man of wealth and taste"

Proof again again: He apparently has no name, he is just The Chairman

OBVIOUSLY he is the devil himself!
