I'm getting the old wanderlust again. Seems like every song I hear makes me miss someplace. Since so many songs are about New York that's the most common one, of course. Cowboy Mouth is making me miss living on the Gulf (Hurricane Party and out of control, lyin' in the gutter eatin' Tootsie Rolls, (something) bites all over my ass, beatin' on my friends with a baseball bat... dude, the folks I hung out with when I was living with my sister on the Gulf were so awesome. And I've just realized that the age I am now is the age she and the rest of 'em were back then. sigh). I'd settle for moving in to the city of Dallas proper, with its dead-end tower-block canyons and symbolic constant shadow. I'd move to Michigan. I'd move to Cleveland. I'd pick a direction and drive it all day. I am sick of being here again.
