Y'know what is driving me absolutely crazy? I haven't seen Return of the King yet. If I were back in New York I'd've seen it within days of it coming out. I could go tomorrow after work - I've been assigned a 1-9 shift for reasons unknown to me, and I could clock out fifteen minutes early and hit the 9:10 show at the Carmike 10 movie theater. But I don't really just want to go sit in the theeater. I want to go with somebody who wants to see the movie as much as I do. I want to get excited about it and share in my companion's reactions as well as experiencing my own. I want to go to Denny's afterward and talk about what we just saw while we linger over fries and endless soda refills. I want to do what I'd be doing back home with Vinnie and Scua-Sara and Irish-Sara and everybody else. Justin doesn't give a shit about the movie, so I don't have that here.

I am sad and I miss my friends.

If it makes you feel any better (and it likely doesn't) I only saw TTT over this new year's eve just passed, and won't likely see ROTK until it comes out on video....life's just too complicated right now to spend three continuous hours in the theatre....

I get off work too late to make the drive. Stupid distance between Longview and Tyler!

Justin says we might go tomorrow night, after work, if we don't come up with anything else that needs to be done. I'll probably end up doing laundry while he takes down the Christmas lights, though.
