That's right, tell me about your bed.

I have a queen bed, mattress and box spring on cheap metal frame that came with the mattress set. No real bedframe, no headboard, etc. Just mattress. It's in the corner of my bedroom so two sides are against walls. I use blue sheets; my favorite sheets are my "t-shirt" sheets. I have four blankets: a quilt my mom made me, a big blue fluffy woven blanket, a fleecey thing I made for Justin when I was in college but I sewed it by hand and some of the edging stitches are coming out now, and a throw made of sweatshirt material with the Kinko's logo on it. All of them are varying shades of blue. I have four pillows: two normal ones with blue pillowcases which may or may not match the sheets on the bed at any given time, and two very large ones covered in red cotton twill that were originally floor pillows that provided the seating in the living room before we bought the couch. I need more pillows. This is not nearly enough pillowage. I also have a variety of stuffed animals, mostly penguins, who sit on the bed and look nice when it's made, and end up being kicked off the end of the bed when I sleep in it. On the wall above the head end of the bed is a checkered flag from the local racetrack which was a gift from when I worked at the NASCAR store, gathered into a swag above a bit of brightwork from a 1952 Hudson Hornet's left front fender. Under the bed is a bunch of paperwork I really need to fill out, and a puzzle book.

I sleep in the bottom bunk of a bunk bed, only no one sleeps in the top bunk. Two sides are in a corner and I have a sheet around it creating the cave, which keeps light out at night. My sheets are purple. I have a blue comfoter from home and a quilt from my grandmother's house. I have a big pillow in a pink checkered pillow case and a brown suade body pillow. That's...about it.
