If you're going to get all bitchy about the phone ringing while you're in the tub.... why did you install a damn phone in the bathroom in the first place?  Weirdo.

Honestly, why DOES he have a telephone in the bathroom?  And they had him smoke Camels because the packaging hasn't changed.

He was intending to hold a guy up, and got held up himself.  The look of resignation on his face amuses me.




And then he gets choked out, knocked over the head, tossed out a window, and discovered in a trash can by a hooker.




Sadly, the hooker's apartment is nicer than his.

For some reason Marlowe's got a different apartment now.  And nothing in the fridge.

And then he gets back at the guys what did him:

Some people sleep with teddy bears.  Marlowe sleeps with a glass of whiskey.

in re: the Window Nazi sequence, I went, 'the hell?!?' He does seem to be looking nicer this season, although I have to say I don't find Marlowe in the green tub with the cigarette and the phone enticing. ;-P Probably a good thing for Marlowe, all things considered. Because you know what happens to characters I find enticing! Bwahahaha!

Don't accuse me of finding him enticing, either. :-P I'm extremely fond of the character, but I can't say I care much for this particular physical iteration thereof.

"The hell?!?" is the only proper response to the Window Nazi sequence, even in context.
