I'll get the top part - the WWI memorial - first; the gonzo thing is my reward for getting back into journalism school, you see.  It's going to be centered on my back, with the WWI part up on my neck - the poppy, at least, will be visible when i wear a t-shirt - and the journalism part between my shoulder blades, visible when i wear a tank top.  A stiff-collared shirt should hide all the ink when professionalism prohibits war memorials.

It's my handwriting, that is. I'm going to confer with the artist as to what sort of script to use on my skin, although I'd like something with a similar feel to the way I wrote it by hand.

I'm pretty sure you're right. That's what happens when I draw things with Sharpies whilst on hold at work. Of course when I actually go get that one done next year I'll bring references.
