What's the two-digit number traditionally appended to the ends of news-articles to indicate "cut here"?  I'm drawing a blank.

Oh man ~ I just looked it up. This is totally the kind of thing I could have known.

28. What is the origin of "-30-" at the end of some press releases?

The "-30-" is the traditional journalistic closing which probably came to be during the Civil War when telegraphers tapped "XXX" at the end of a transmission, which is the Roman numeral for 30.
