I decided I really do prefer Jonny Lee Miller over Johnathan Rhys Meyers for Roger, and I think the source images I found here really sum up the characters' personalities. Presumably something really funny is happening off and to the left of the photographer (who I assume to be Pat), and Simon is grinning, Roger is braying, and Norman is kind of smiling a little.

First try. That's two different photos of Gareth, of course: head and shoulders from a closeup, for the facial expression, and body from a different one where he was frowning. And I forgot to edit the edge of the shirt so it just kind of stops. Why Simon's holding a beer and Roger's wearing an ugly t-shirt I couldn't tell you.
