I was thinking it might be kind of funny for Simon to drink the spiked punch and fall in love with Roger.  I mean, Stupidly Romantic Love, flowers and dinner dates and heartfelt protestations style.

Simon looks at him for a moment; Roger only has time to think how strange that look in his eyes is before Simon's kissing him. It's so fucking gentle Roger feels like he wants to swoon like a girl, he's not a fucking girl, it's just - such a light brushing of his lips. Delicate, soft, sweet.

Roger thinks for a quick moment, this must be how Simon kisses Patricia -

Simon's lips move to the corner of Roger's jaw and place another butterfly soft kiss there; he murmurs, "my beautiful Roger."

Roger's wildly whirling mind tells him something is desperately, terribly wrong.
