titusnowlPonce snuggles in his sleep. If you don't actively kick him out of the bed - very actively, depending on who you are (by which, of course, we mean "if you're Cuddles, nothing short of a black eye is really going to do it") - he will stay the night, and you will wake up to find him wrapped around you, usually in a position that seems as though he ought to be finding it sort of uncomfortable. If he doesn't have another person in his bed, he ends up hugging his pillow. Apparently he has yet to outgrow the impulse to have a teddy bear.
He talks in his sleep sometimes, too, which can be annoying; even unconscious, he won't shut up? But it's relatively rare, usually only a sentence at a time mumbled blearily, and if you smack him in the arm or something he'll quiet down. For a while Miranda kept a list of things she'd heard him say: "Hippopotames don't even grow on trees." "It's my suitcase hat." "That's a very important cheese, you know. Saves the world on Tuesdays." That last one spawned a long-running joke.
He really doesn't like hippos, for the record. He was traumatized by a picture of one in a book as a very small boy, and has not cared for the ones he's seen in person in zoos either. He plays it up because it's a very silly thing to be afraid of.
He never had his own scooter back in the Teddy Boy/Mod days, but his boyfriend taught him how to ride his. The only car he's ever actually owned was a white two-door Corvair, purchased in order to drive around Ohio without borrowing Miranda's Volkswagen. He told her to sell it after he joined UIEEI. He was never terribly fond of it; it was a nice enough little thing, but not entirely his style - just the best of the local dealers' offerings.
If asked his hometown, he would be literally unable to give an honest answer, so you'd better be content with hearing a long and involved story about how he was born and raised in the lost city of Atlantis or something; it's the best you're going to get, even if you're Crusoe.
