The TBS Lord of the Rings commercials crack my shit up.  Especially the "Secret Lovers" one.  Every time it comes on I go "HA! HA!" really loud.  Really, I don't just laugh, I go "HA! HA!" because it is BEYOND LAUGHTER.

Also, the font they use to list the films and the dates/times is Arial Rounded MT Bold. And I can't not know this.

I point out fonts all the time.  "Fuck, Papyrus again."  "Hey, Bauer Bodoni."  "Why the hell is Fontdinerdotcom Sparkly the Font Of The Year now?  I'm sick of it."  "Oh god not Comic Sans again."  "COOPER BLACK!"

Today they told me to be the door greeter.  Two problems:
1. They didn't tell me what to do when the alarm went off, so I was pretty much just waving peoples' bags over the register deactivatey thing and sending them home.
2. NO INTELLECTUAL STIMULATION WHATSOEVER.  "Hello! Would you like a buggy?  Here you go!  Hello!  Would you like a buggy?  Here you go!  Hello!  Would you like a buggy?  Here you go!"  Captain Feathersword could've done it if he were only strong enough to push the carts!  I need SOME sort of mental problem to keep on my mind to alleviate the tedium.  At least when cashiering I can at least try to play Grocery Store Detective and make guesses about people's lives based on what they're purchasing.  As a door greeter, the highlight of my day was when I got to park one of the motorized carts.
