Well, that's good of him. Dies he want the broken ring back? If he doesn't, that'll be fun to fool around with in an artsy-craftsy way.

Yeah, I emailed him back to thank him for his prompt response and ask whether he wants the original back - he said he'll send a postage-paid return envelope, and show the broken one to his vendor.

If it happens again I'll try to get credit for another ring from him, but a different vendor. Seems like a pretty trustworthy little e-business.

Cool beans...some people on ebay are so cool. The guy I got my cell phone charger replaced it and I didn't even have to send it back.
