As a result of our external storage drive dying, I've lost all my Christmas music. I want, very much, to get into the holiday spirit this year, and so I make this appeal to you, dear readers, a few weeks early: Could you be so kind as to send me a few of your own favourite Christmas songs, whether they are traditional, modern, etc?
I'm personally fondest of the ones that can put me in mind of Christmas in the '40s - things sung by the Rat Pack (or their modern torch-carrier Michael Buble) - although I absolutely adore the song "Christmas Wrapping" by the Waitresses, and also like instrumental versions of things like "Ding Dong Merrily On High" and such. I'm pretty easy to please, as long as it's not "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" or "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth."
